Registration

  • Registration for convention was included in competition registration.
  • For all guests attending the Indiana CLE Conference. **Registration closes on Feb. 4th.**
  • This includes access to the Pre-Gala Reception and Gala, for all members of the general public that are not members of NBLSA.
  • This registration is for NBLSA Alumni (this list will be cross checked with the current list of registered Alumni members), current MWBLSA/NBLSA law students, and all convention speakers. Includes access to Pre-Gala Reception and Gala ONLY.
  • This link is ONLY for members of the hosting school who will participate as volunteers. You will receive a password once your volunteer slot is confirmed. Failure to show up for your volunteer slot will revoke all convention access. No refunds permitted.
  • This link is ONLY for members of IUMcKinney and IUMaurer, the hosting chapters. Any attempts to register under this link by members outside of these local chapters will be cancelled immediately.
  • For attendees of the law student conference. All chapters must send at least one representative to the first plenary session, held Thurs. Feb 6th from 4-5:30PM. **Registration extended to Jan.24th**
  • Registration closes Jan. 24th.

  • This link is for speakers (excluding those speaking at the Legacy Luncheon) and Mock Trial and Moot Court judges attending the Legacy Luncheon ONLY.

    This registration includes access to the Legacy Luncheon, Friday CLE programming, and Friday evening reception (already open to all competition judges not attending the luncheon). Does NOT include access to the gala on Saturday night.

The Midwestern Region of the National Black Law Students Association cordially invites you to our 52nd MWBLSA Regional Convention! This year, we are hosting our annual convention in the vibrant, up-and-coming city of Indianapolis, IN! It will be held from Wednesday, February 5th through Sunday, February 9th, 2020 at IU McKinney School of Law and the Crowne Plaza Indianapolis Downtown Union Station.

Our Regional Convention is comprised of 5 individual conferences. Conference dates are as follows: 

  • CBMMTC & TMMCC (Mock Trial & Moot Court Competition): Feb 5th-7th 
  • Law Student Conference: Feb 6th (Plenary Session I at 4:00pm)-9th
  • Pre-Law Student Conference: Feb 7th-9th
  • Indiana CLE Conference: Feb 7th-9th

Our annual conventions consist of powerful panel discussions, networking opportunities, community service initiatives, receptions, awards gala, and SO much more. Join us as we celebrate 52 years of service and achievements in the MW black community!


*NO registrations will be refunded, except in the very rare case of a medical or similar emergency.
